Web Design
web design
Learning web design is a constant project for me. There's always something new to learn and always a better way to do things with all the evolving developments. What you know this year might become totally obsolete next year.
A photo journal of my working holiday in New Zealand and further travels in 2007 & 2008. In a time when simple drap and drop uploading is abound on the internet, I think there's been a loss of originality when it comes to travel blogging. Just google "travel" & "blog" and you'll see what I mean... cluttered, complicated navigation, banner ads, everything starts looking the same. I'm sticking with the a simple format where the pictures and stories take precedence. For the content page, headers, and backgrounds, I created a unifying theme using vector art and hand drawn type.

A site I designed for Scott's martial arts club in Vermont. He has someone else working on the site now, so I uploaded my original design to my host. Visit mountmansfieldmartialarts.com to see the current website.

I designed this page to promote Democratic Candidate for Governer, Mayor John DeStefano. The criteria for the page was that was cohesive with the rest of the site, appeared professional, and presented information regarding the convention in a clear and organized manner. The site is offline, but I uploaded it to my host.

I've always had a wushu page on my site, but eventually, the volume of photos was getting out of control. I also had the ambition of adding videos, a message board, and other content, so i redesigned that whole part of my site.
