A Domestic Life

Ma loves the yardwork.

My friend Adam and I taking the train down to NY
for a Sox vs. Yankees game.

I was a stranger in a strange land.

Grillin'

Cat hotel

Seth's friend Zippy bought a boat so we went to the lake to water ski.

I don't like water, which doesn't mean I didn't try; fail, but try anyway.

3rd year of the Wushu Center competition... I was a stranger there.

Italian flag raised at the state capitol.

Okay, that explains it.

My mom's strange creation in the front yard.

My last day of substitute teaching. 5th grade, Mrs. Swanbon... I'll hang
onto the memory, and remind myself never to return.

Nate with another toy.

Nate trying to get me interested in indoor rock climbing.
Not gonna happen.

Nate taking me sailing.

Guy resuing us from crashing into rocks.

Another guy helping us free the boat.

And being towed back to the dock.

What the hell happened?

Newport's touristy area.

Expensive, unsatisfying food.

An awkward moment

Me and bricks

Pell Bridge out of Newport

Castle Craig Tower in Hubbard Park, Meriden

View from the tower

My buddy Wally

They look like barnacles.

At Dave & Busters in Providence.

Kenpo pool party at the White's. We were printed on
the cake. EAT ME!

Sun setting in Manchester

Rich's old house on steroids

Watching Christine do some snazzy ballroom dancing.

Friends hanging out at my house.

There's no way anyone can not like the game.

I hope my cat doesn't miss me too much.

Ghost hunting with Wally... that K-II meter freaked me out a few times.

Sunflower growing in the front yard.

Ma showing off her vegetables

A freaky spider

Bounty from the earth

Fran and I imitating the group of girls taking pictures of themselves
and acting like they're having such a wonderful time.

Trying out my new camera... a new era has begun. You'll there's a
different quality to the canon. I think I prefer my old nikon.

Awwww..... Marco.

Mom dropping me off at the airport.

Heading to San Diego to visit my sisters

In-and-Out Burger. I must say one of the most satisfying fast food
burger experiences ever.

Mexicans giving my sister a car wash.

Su-Xuan's ridiculously long hair.

Woohoo, Diana

Food... of course it has to be asian food when I'm hanging with my
sisters.

Unlike the first time I came through San Diego on the road trip, my
sister knew the area much better and showed us some of the more
interesting cultural areas. The Old Town had a strong Mexican influence.

None of us had been here before so we didn't know what to expect.

I'm slow

Can you spot the hidden animal?

Lazy bastards

Deserty

So it turned out the Wild Animal Park wasn't very wild. All the animals looked lazy
or bored, and none of them were going to eat each other. Yawn.

What the hell?

Read the fine print... Miss South Carolina must've wrote it.

I forget they were both in Japan for 3 years. I guess they feel at
home here.

Diana is dangerous.

Diana is good at Guitar Hero

Diana is good at the casino. She's just about to win $100 at this slot
machine. She also plays poker... at the tables... with the old guys with
cigars. I stopped watching after a few minutes and when I came back
an hour later, she had a huge pile of chips in front of her. Scary.

Diana is going to kill me

That night we had a strange reunion with relatives I don't remember.

That guy I remember, he's my father. Been a long time since I've seen
him though.

Korean restaurant and the assortment of things you wouldn't say
taste good, but you try them anyway.

Can't get away from it.

Su-Xuan can is scary too.

Dave & Busters in SD... I love it... arcades all grown up.

Pho. Never as good as home.

Just the day before, there was news of a huge delay at LAX because
of a computer malfunction, but it only affected one terminal. Oh shit...
it was this one.

No worries. No delays. I'm off to live the most random life I can live.
