In the past few days, i've been getting more things taken care of. to enter the country under the working holiday visa, and entrant needs medical insurance. i don't like having to buy something i might not ever use, but i guess it's better off. it was only $444 for the entire year, and it's pretty comprehensive in case i snap my neck while bungie jumping or something. i added the sports coverage considering it's NZ and i'm bound to do some fun and dangerous stuff. $100 deductable. hopefully nothing goes wrong though.
I also purchased some nifty NZD... 400 dollars worth from my bank. only took a day to arrive. unfortunately, in the day since i bought it, the dollar gained a lot of strength, so i didn't get a great deal. oh well.
today i used my moe's coupon and watched the simpsons movie with alison and her friend lauren. the movie was like a long episode of the show, but the laughter in the audience was strange since when you watch it on TV, it's only an internal chuckle.
oh yeah... brought my old laptop back to life for Wally. *charles gives himself a pat on the back*
