Time Flies

I feel like I just got here, and there are only a few more days before we all say goodbye until who knows when. The Wild Animal park yesterday was anything but wild. The safari adventure depicted on the brochure was definitely false advertisement. Sure, the giraffes and antelope were lounging out in the open, but it's not like they're going to eat each other. Where's the fun in that? More exciting was today's casino adventure. I decided not to drive to Vegas because we'd spend too much of the time just driving, so we hit up an Indian reservation casino nearby. I lost money at blackjack as usual, but I had the privilege of watching Diana play poker at a table. I never learned how to play it, so it was stomach churning watching her throw money into the pot and folding. But she knew what she was doing. After a few hours, she won it all back as well as a nice chunk of change from the other players at the table. Maybe one day I'll have the balls for that.
Other than that it's just a lot of hanging out like old times. Playing some Guitar Hero, eating Dim Sum, going to Borders. My sister bought some American Idol karaoke game today and listened to a digitized Simon ridicule my singing.
Tomorrow is going to be a particularly interesting day. The plan is to drive up to LA in the evening and visit our father. I haven't seen him since 7th grade, so I'm not sure what to think of the whole thing. I hope I get my camera batteries too. I bought them on ebay and had them shipped here, but they haven't arrived yet. I'm getting concerned.

Read the shirt.

Jeez... it's so tough to get a picture of all 3 of us together.
