So... my friend Alex invited me down to Louisville to hang out and enjoy the festivities of Derby time. Of course I couldn't say no to fun, and this was a perfect opportunity for a rooooadtriiip... 24 days of American adventure.

I've been extremely lazy and didn't write any captions. I know, I know... it's blasphemous, since pictures don't mean much without a story and my witty and humorous observations. Maybe I'll get around to it later.

Can my humble Rio survive such a monumental task?

WASHINGTON DC

Many latenight chili-dogs were had here.

I wanted to arrive in Washington in time to see the Cherry Blossom
Festival Parade. That morning, Constitution Avenue was blocked off
for the parade route, and the aroma of Japanese food filled the air.

"Dude, why do I have to be stuck with the flower flag?"

That's Bianca Ryan, the girl who won America's Got Talent.
Horrible live!

Unforunately, the peak bloom was early this year, so by the time
I arrived, only a few blossoms were clinging on to their final hours.

This was supposed to be a cool picture with all the blossoms.

Hangin' out with Jefferson.

Cloggers from the rural Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. It's like
Irish stepdancing, only worse.

Washington, Washington... 555 feet high, fuckin' weighs 82,421 tons...
opponents beware, opponents beware...

Four score and seven years ago...

Hangin' out with Abe Lincoln.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial... my gut reaction... It's so shiny!

Behind bars where it should be.

What can be more American than a Naganata fight in the streets
of Washington?
