Sunday, March 9... day one
oooo... mysterious
Here's my sister helping out on the set, I ended up making her a character in the movie.

Yes... my basement became the set for 3 scenes... i had to manage making it look like a wood shed, an evil lab, a training area... i'm so glad i cleaned it up last summer. My crew for Friday, March 14... during that shoot, i got call from Nathan saying... "hey, i wanna help, i'm back for break".... yeeeeessss... the addition of him as a character changed the whole story for the better.
Saturday, March 15... Snow Day... after wushu class, i was about to round up John, Nathan, Chris, Scott, Brian, and Diana for an afternoon of shooting.

Poor Brian, overworked and underpaid... actually, unpaid. Hmm, that makes him a slave. Badguys scheming up something... bad.
Hmm, what's going on... one goodguy's breaking the other's back while the third one is recording the action... hmm, must be for Jackass. Aghhh..... snow. Yes, we're just laying in the snow. It was cold.
What the hell? The badguy is taping us. Hehe, that's the thing about a movie with a $0 budget... everyone helps with everything, the cast is the crew. Makes it more memorable i think.
After every take, Scott the towel boy did his duty.
Aghhh.... fighting in snow, what was i thinking. And once I got around to sound editing... i'm realizing... what the hell was i thinking. But i gues mother nature has her own plans. I think fighting in the snow ended up being a good thing. Oh yeah... erghhh.. those annoying neighborhood kids yelling in the background.
OK, he can't complain about being cold. He wasn't rolling around in the snow with just a tshirt on. Oh, poor thing might get sick for 2 weeks again. Later on, his father was lecturing me... "charles... you must take care of brian, last time he came home all wet and got sick for 2 weeks, then this time, he comes home and his shoes are all wet... charles, you're like a big brother to him... remember he's only a little boy... blah blah blah...".. whatever

This fight scene went real smoothly cause me and John had choreographed the whole thing earlier... unfortunately, we forgot half the fight and when i was watching our recording of practice, i was like, nooooo... we forgot to do that move... noooo, darn, but oh well, it came out good.

... and we were done by 5:30... so that Scott and John could go home... Nate, Brian, and Chris hung out and i made yummy bagels and we were playing WWE:Smackdown... goodtimes.
