HOOOONK... HOOOOONK... HOOOOOOOONK... That's all i remember about the busride from Hangzhou to Jinghua. Besides the fact that we were part of a bus caravan being led by police escort... plowing through the countryside.

The next set of pictures are from competition and exhibition. All I have to say is God Bless Photoshop... cause those of you who have seen my pictures know these came out real bad. But after a few adjustment by a photoshop master, they're actaully not that bad.

right when i took this picture, i thought... uh oh, bad idea... but then she performed the balance perfectly anyways, then i remembered it was jiayin.

EXHIBITION - later that night

Funny thing... we had to meet at the hotel lobby, dressed and ready to go back to the arena to perform. 5 minutes before the bus leaves, i go to my room expecting to find Russ, my roomate dressed and ready to go. Instead, he's laying there dead asleep in his regular clothes. I made no effort to gently wake him, but instead am like... "OH MY GOD! RUSS GET UP! YOU'RE LATE! WE GOTTA GO! EVERYONE'S WAITING FOR YOU!!... The way he jumped out of bed and the look on his face... priceless.

I was so good i got a silver in straightsword... i didn't even compete in it, or register. Should've kept quiet about it though, cause Master Zong took it back.

JINGHUA - FRIDAY - AUGUST 16

There was a planned tour, but there was a problem with the roads or something. So we had free time to do our own thing. Me, jose, timmy, lindsay, scotty, rich, nolan, phil, and Ai walked around the city to so some shopping. I got art supplies... damn cheap. Lindsay and Ai went crazy with the clothes shopping. It was hot out.

HANGZHOU - Friday - August 16th - BANQUET #2

We got back to Hangzhou... what's the first thing we do? get some McDonalds. So there wasn't much of an appetite by the time we got to the international banquet in the hotel we were at.

HANGZHOU - SATURDAY - AUGUST 17

Oh the sadness that morning, leaving Hangzhou. Hangzhou was beautiful, we had great memories of with training, competition, and seeing the sights she had to offer. But now we say goodbye. Goodbye Hangzhou...*sniffle*
