Fireworks - MCC - July 3rd, 2004

So after Nate and I spent the afternoon trying to
blow up a banana using black powder and failing
miserably, we headed down to the Manchester
fireworks show. This picture captures the essence
of the car ride there.

It was crowded, but it didn't take long for us to find
Jiayin's voice.

Lots and lots of people...
What else can you expect on a perfect,
cool summer evening

There's Nate with his cameraphone. The Hu's are
in the background. I think that Independence has
been desinated a wushu people holiday... I've been
going to watch fireworks with them the last three
years. Including a very memorable incident
involving Ai, a traffic cone, and a very angry
Russian woman 2 years ago... that i won't discuss
here.

There's Phil... Phil & Jiayin i mean, luckily he was
able to get out of work... for his own sake.

I like the fact that i could take pictures like this
when it's dark out. My camera is awesome.

The Fireworks supposedly cap off a day of
festivities at MCC including live music, food, etc.
Of course the only thing that really matters are the
fireworks... so here they are.
Once again, with my trusty camera, i was able to take awesome shots i wasn't able to before. i liked having really long exposure times to that it would capture the trails of lights... creating paintings of light in the sky. If you click on the picture, you'll be linked to a full size version of it. You can set it as a festive wallpaper or something.
